Design Focus: I'm going Pink for October

I'm going Pink for October

Slashdotted, Matthew Oliphant is inviting anyone and everyone to turn their Web sites pink during October, which is National Breast Cancer Awareness month. Nearly 150 sites have done so as of this writing. I saw first the ifElse blog redesigned in pink which looks great, but I tryed to check other participants and looks like most of them are just changing the background color. Maybe the pink color isn't really inspiring ? While I find it great idea to promote such event, so are you going pink this october ?

Web sites will Go Pink during the month of October to bring attention to Breast Cancer Awareness Month, get people talking about breast cancer, and raise money for research.
