Macromedia launched Macromedia Labs

Macromedia Labs is the source for early looks at emerging products and technologies from Macromedia. A place where you may find early access to downloads, samples, documentation, release notes, tutorials and more. Labs also includes forums and a wiki, where you can ask questions, discuss, and share your feedback with Macromedia. In an article written by Scott Fegette from Macromedia he describe the service

At its core, Macromedia Labs will publish early information and releases of products in development and new technologies in progress. Some of the technologies released in the Labs environment may turn into new products, some may evolve into new features of current products, and some may not have a life beyond the Macromedia Labs site. But all of the technologies will be available for you to evaluate and discuss in a highly collaborative environment.

Labs include different Macromedia technologies Flex Framework 2, Flex Builder 2, Flex Enterprise Services 2, Flex Charting Components 2, Flash Player 8.5, ActionScript 3.0, and Flex 2 ColdFusion Adapter. I find it really very interesting intiative from Macromedia to keep in touch with developers using their technologies and also to hear their feedback to improve their software and solution provided.
